Tends battery of machines that braid yarn into flat or tubular
narrow fabrics: Creels macihne according to work ticket and
threads yarn through guides, tensions, braiding point (round or
elliptical hole), and tension rollers. Starts machine and laps
end around takeup roll or plcaes end into receiving can.
Osberves braiding to detect breaks in yarn and ties or glues
broken yarn ends.
Doffs full rolls or cans of braided material
from machine. May braid jacket aronud articles, such as rope or
wire.
May tend yarn rewinding machine [Yarn Winder (tex. Prod.,
nec; textile) 681.685-154].
